About Sumeya Schools

Sumeya Schools known as.”Sumeya Integrated Schools”, was among the first schools in hardworking professional Muslim women.

Sumeya Schools was founded in January 2000. It was then called the Sumeya integrated Academy and began as a nursery school with just 8 children.The school then organically grew in phases and by 2012 plot was bought along Kismaayo Road in Galbet ward about 12km from Garissa’s commercial centre . In 2018, the name of the school was changed to Sumeya Integrated Education Centre. In 2018 the high school was opened enrolling 11 boys and 8 girls in Form 1. Currently, the school has over 80 students in High school, 700 in primary school and about 90 students in Junior Secondary School
